The Dear John Trade In Program is a way to breathe new life into your used books and get a discount while doing it. Traditionally, Dear John letters were used to end a relationship. When you are ready to move on from a book, you can give it a Dear John Letter and drop it off with us at Love Letter Books where we will find a new reader who can love and appreciate it. For every 3 books you drop off you will receive a 15% discount on a current or future purchase.

We will have post it notes available if you want to leave a short Dear John letter of your own at the back of the book to recommend it to the next reader.
